PRODUCT DETAILS

Acedge is held by four screws on the bottom of the racquet handle. Clearly it will not fit if your racquet has an open end to the handle.  If your handle has a solid end, there should be no problem whatever and you will soon be on your way to hitting more service winners. Full instructions are detailed in the product package.

Make one test hole using using a brad awl in the position marked + in the following sketch--about 7mm in from the edge as indicated by the circle. Then insert a 3 or 4mm screw into this hole. If it goes in and seems firm, you can be reasonably certain that Acedge will fit onto your racquet. You could also try it on an old racquet first.

In the figure below you can see an Acedge mounted for a right handed player. When the player is facing the net, prepared to serve, Acedge will be close to his or her body with the edge of the right hand resting upon the rubber edge corresponding to side 2 above.

You will note that this side 2 is slightly longer than side 1 and this is another guide for correctly fitting Acedge on the handle. The device is simply flipped over for left handed players and fitted across sides 6 and 7.
